Cold Steel Counter Point II knife for sale
I've been looking at the modern designs from Cold Steel, since I love their folders but want something smaller for EDC and have absolutely had trouble with the black finished blades peeling.
This little monster is tough and wicked. The blade is slim and stout, nicely sharp and needle-pointed (especially with a corner false edge), with a super-tight, super-strong lock-up (one con: needs two hands to seal it). The Grivory handles are fully lined, tough and reasonably grippy. The pocket clip will reverse side-to-side but not tip-up from tip-down. Check your grip carries a tactical finger guard--such as the boot knife it has been designed after--that could maintain your hand secure, but causes it to be challenging to get a thumb on the back from the blade for leverage or close work (I doubt it absolutely was suitable for that anyway). It's really a nice EDC weight and size, though a bit stout from the grip (when open, doesn't necessarily think that a folding knife).
Excellent price for that quality--Lets hope to discover more products like this from Cold Steel
