Cold Steel Recon 1 G-10 Handle with Clip Point Black Blade ComboEdge for sale
my first cold steel knife. usually don't do a folder over 3.5 inch, but was curious to get a 4 and a noticeably clip point. Furthermore took a chance about the handle design as I usually go for a straighter shape (in addition to the knife is done in taiwan). when it arrived I figured "it looks alright".I noticed the lack of steel liners and the feeling I acquired hasn't been of confidence. After tinkering with this thing during the last a couple weeks straight I've got to say WOW. This thing surpasses most of my 100 dollar manufactured in US knives. Irrrve never SEEN G 10 Within this FASHION. No need steel liners to carry the blade secure. The g10 is thick and grippier than every other g10 knife I own. as you move the g 10 is thick the knife overall is incredibly slim period. perhaps due to no need for steel liners. Locking is tight and hard! this knife have been successful in setting a brand new standard of pocket knives for me personally. nothing under 4inch in my opinion try to consider a cold steel knife. I took an opportunity and arrived a success using this one...especially considering that the price was right..58 bucks to my door.Normally the one effed up part relating to this knife is it left me wanting more. I see knives on cold steel website that now I must try, but currently on backorder...I suppose that is certainly viewed as the best thing into a, however for me it's not possible to show me something neat and new, then figure out it will be for sale in 3-4 months. Hold my knife money for 3-4 months??? improbable. When that rewards are burning a hole around my pocket it don't burn for 3 months. can occur cold steel...this ain't a fresh marketing ploy to suit your needs. I have come across knives I needed previously in your web while using "currently backordered" status eventually then when I check back it's gone and disco'd.

i really was reading...and see that a lot of people were confused about this knife and characteristics. First I want to say that it is an excellent knife. I've carried it everyday since i have bought. I don't use the clip with the rough g10,but appreciate the rough g10 for the purpose it's there for, RETENTION!(who needs the clip?...it simply makes deploying this knife slow) I merely keep a pocket empty just for this knife...as i drive it is in the front, when I'm out from the car it could proceed to the back. This same concept refers to some concealed carry peeps also. Somebody must accommodate thier situation back then. Strangely i favor about black non reflective is always that it might be deployed and quite a few people will not likely comprehend what you are doing In the least. I deploy this sword of your knife whenever I require it and peoples brains don't compute it because it is not silver colored. Aside from that, but in addition you don't pull this thing out and wave it around being a nutjob. You deploy it, put it to use, then send it back to it's concealed state asap. Now, about the lock up. It gets easier, similar to everything, after usage and use. At first I recently assumed it was not for one handed closing, but that is not true...now I will close it 2 various ways with one hand. Oh something else to mention...yes this knife is somewhat of a utility and tactical knife along with the blade is greater than most folding knifes, but this is not any type of knife you pull out for cutting hanging thread away from your shirt. This has about while using the right tool for the task (and wise practice should inform you it ain't worth the exposure). You employ just a little knife with the almost thing. I prefer the sog access card 2 black when I'm doing little chores...so yes I carry 2 knives, however you'll find much smaller knives than that product some that even attach to a keychain such as a small swiss army something like that. just my 2 cents on knives..We are by not the slightest bit a knife expert but I am always a student, happy to spread knowledge to help.
