Leatherman 70101003K Juice C2 Pocket Multi-Tool Inferno Red for sale
This is, in my opinion, almost ideal for an Daily Carry (EDC) multitool. I researched before I bought, and i also sided while using the Juice C2 within the Juice S2 and CS4. I'm a wine drinker, and thus is my partner, and are also my friends. We're always traveling, and we're always finding inside ourselves need of a corkscrew. I get a utility drawer packed with cheap waiter's keys which are purchased on the road. We've tried putting corkscrews in this suitcases, but inevitably something mucks up and then we turn out needing one more.
I lost my venerable Swiss army knife. Rrt had been a Victorinox Tinker, and i also loved it. When searching for an alternative, I'd been immediately interested in the assisted corkscrew on many of the Juice models. I want to be clear: The assisted corkscrew works being a waiter's key. The can opener's lip comes with a fulcrum point that can help the screw pull the cork. Swiss army knives have corkscrews, but they all require you to physically retrieve the cork, which oven shreds it. The Leatherman Juice models don't shred corks, they pop them out. If you'd like a corkscrew in your EDC, you'll need a Leatherman. Period.
I'd personally have liked scissors. Leatherman used to make a model referred to as SC2, which combined the S2 and C2. Now, if you want those things you must possess a saw and an awl about the CS4. So, I selected the C2 and live without worrying about scissors.
It's still an excellent product. Good-sized combination pliers, chisel-tipped flathead screwdrivers, a strong Phillips #1 which doesn't manage to strip or chip, an incredible bottle opener, a good can opener (it will eventually get the job done), and a main blade that's sharp enough to shave with, right as is also. Additionally, essentially the most frequently used tools (bottle opener, corkscrew, and knife) are accessible without having to open the tool. This all is at an attractive red package that literally disappears into jean pockets.
If you are a wine drinker, now is your EDC best ally. I'm making use of it constantly in places and situations I've never even considered. I'm snipping vines while using wire cutters and turning bolts with all the pliers. I'm using the needle-nose tips as tweezers along with the small flathead being a punch. This tool may be worth every penny. Obviously, the afternoon Leatherman reintroduces the SC2, I'll pip out.
