Leatherman 934870 40 Bit Assortment with Nylon Sheath for sale

Leatherman 934870 40 Bit Assortment with Nylon Sheath for sale

I'm a good fan with the modified Leatherman bits. They have got prove useful more frequently than I thought they may. In fact, exactly the other day I came across myself changing a taillight (within the freezing cold) for the truck with one of these.

The kit isn't cheap, but you are investing in the formfactor and convenience. There's another Wave add-on what allows you to use standard driver bits, but it is considerably larger than this technique.

To start out, they've shaved off about 2/5ths to at least one/2 of the thickness of any standard bit. This permits those to configure a driver slot along with other tools if you don't take in the entire Multitool handle for any screwdriver. This kit features a nice nylon sheath, but I have found that as a little an excessive amount of personally personally. The configuration contains 2 plastic holsters like the bits. They even add a spare eyeglass driver.

I've changed up my daily carry to incorporate the most common bits during one of the two plastic "cards". I put this 1 card in to the back pocket of my Van nylon sheath (I've heard of others doing this on their own leather sheath, but I wouldn't think there's enough room, personally.

Well , i don't really operate the included sheath with both toolbit cards inside. I simply move them around until I receive the desired mix and carry one card with my Wave in one sheath. An incredibly nice method it, and Leatherman obviously had this at heart when producing them.

The only real detractor is usually that the sheath that comes with these is not actually fitted perfectly, but after a little use, it probably could well be better. I just didn't have the possibility.

The purchase price might be a high, however the steel is incredibly premium quality and i also haven't noticed any stripping or spinning out yet. I wish it absolutely was cheaper, but therefore I wouldn't have to carry a big and heavy pack of bits and i am ready to invite that convenience.
