Leatherman Multi Tool Wave-Black Nylon DGL for sale
First, I love it. I will not assess the actual tool as it is great i have nothing to feature. I've owned/used countless leathermans in the past i love the instruments.
But...
as the second person has mentioned, the completed within this tool is below ideal. It comes off to deal with and whatever you touch for that first couple of weeks of use. Furthermore, it's easily scratched during this period. No, Neither effect the function, however it is also not what I expect from leatherman. Concerned that this one I received didn't have a very possible opportunity to finish curing, I emailed Leatherman (see below). I'm not sure why they can not cure the final before sending against each other or utilize a different type of black finish (i.e. gun blueing).
It's still on my belt and i also adore it, but progress leatherman, remedy it.

I appreciate you for your email whilst your interest in Leatherman Tools.
The black coating is applied to the exterior of the tool. It will appear on your hands especially before you start. The oils from your hand do assist with set the black therefore the more you handle the tool, the harder the colour is set.
The black is on the surface only, so scratches will show. The black tools were developed with all the goal of keeping reflection journey surface with military applications planned where scratches are perhaps less important.
