SOG Knives Pocket PowerPlier Multi-Tool for sale
I used to carry a trendy name brand multi-tool myself until I found a couple superior options ( based on 30+ years as a firefighter, officer and bomb disposal technician ( EOD ). I have owned many multi tools in recent times and abused them ( that's why the great ones possess a lifetime warranty ). The SOG Pocket PowerPlier (PPP) rates among the finest Personally i have tried. Don't waste your money on whatever else - " Leather Guy " can't come near into a SOG in performance, functionality and warranty - many people feel!!! I do own other brand multitools and possess a desk drawer stuffed with them and they're used solely for opening envelopes and packages. As i require a multitool at the office I want a `real' multitool i always can depend on get the job done accessible .
SOG's Pocket PowerPlier is the most recent addition which has been added to my arsenal of multitools which i keep on consistantly. I realize its adequate to do 95% with the jobs handled by it's your government the SOG PowerLock. Lighter and much more compact versus the PowerLock the Pocket PowerPlier ( Model #S44 ) is quite convenient to carry and employ. SOG's Pocket PowerPlier comes complete with essential tools offering pliers/grippers, wire cutters, partially serrated blade, Phillips screwdriver, three-sided file, tin opener having a small screwdriver, bottle opener with medium screwdriver, an awl, rulers, lanyard and heavy duty leather pouch. Again the PPP's selling point of hex bolt construction leaves other multitools running for cover since this essential design element provides you with the highest versatility to wash and change tool components ( additional tool components are directly offered by SOG for just a modest charge) not offered by other multitool manufacturers. While using the interchangability you'll be able to replace the partially serrated blade which has a 3" plain edge blade i also removed these sided file and replaced it with a serrated line cutter. I find carrying the PPP a benefit as a consequence of less weight hanging on my belt ( 5.5 ounces vs 9.6 ounces to the PowerLock) . Also noted is SOG's Deluxe Pocket PowerPlier ( Model S45) which adds a sizable screwdriver, 1/4 socket drive but it really loses the awl to be a tool and is 5.5 ounces - identical to he S44 model. Backed with a Lifetime Guarantee and they're Manufactured in America.
ALL 3 multitools that I use frequently have their devote my entire life, and with respect to the assignment during the day the PPP is on my belt and the other two are nearby within the truck.
