I already owned this knife and ordered that one instead to the one I gave away. I really already knew what type of knife it turned out and has not been really ordering blind. The only critique I'd personally have could be that the handle material is simply bit more flexible but not as sturdy as I would like, however the sleekness and sharpness with the tanto blade, the great balance and heft, plus the surprising lightweightness (if that is often a word) with the knife overall, over replace with this. It was a bit stiff as is also however a couple drops of oil and also a slight adjustment to loosen the mechanism, the knife opens quickly with all the flick of my thumb. This is not a serious issue because many knives will not be perfectly adjusted to individual preferences as is also as well as in my estimation oiling a knife, even a a different one, is a useful one preventative maintenance. Furthermore like to adjust every one of my knives in order that they open optimally to my naturally applied pressure.
